Miguel Ramirez
I was born in Arlington, Virginia and raised in Fredericksburg. Both my parents Latino immigrants, my dad worked as a construction worker and a mechanic and my mother in catering. At fourteen I started dancing to a variety of spanish music and performed for many quinceñeras and sweet sixteens. I choreographed for many of these events. In addition, I also studied in culinary school in my last two years before graduating high school. I had the opportunity to work in a kitchen that received restaurant of the year in my home town. I competed for the SkillsUSA Scholarship Program. At age sixteen I joined a dance crew in his high school named Static Vybe that audition for America’s Got Talent. I did well in both as a dancer and as a chef, having the opportunity to have a full ride scholarship to Johnson & Wales for culinary. Instead, I moved to the west coast to study dance and theater at the AMDA College and Conservatory in Los Angeles. Attending school there, sparked my love for Acting, Shakespeare, Stunts, and Writing.
